On March 25, 2025, the leaders of Longwan District Government visited Shanghai Power Station Valve Factory for inspection, and conducted in-depth exchanges around the theme of "Craftsmanship Creates Quality, Intelligent Manufacturing Leads the Future". Visit the workshop and experience intelligent manufacturing

The first part of the inspection activity is to visit the production workshop of Shanghai Power Station Valve Factory. Chairman Lin Maolong led the leaders of Longwan District Government to visit the workshop and conduct on-site inspections of the application of intelligent equipment and automated production processes. The attendees gained a detailed understanding of the efficient process of valve production and its significant advantages in cost savings and productivity enhancement. This visit provided government leaders with a clear understanding and further deepened their recognition of the advanced technology and innovative models of Shanghai Power Station Valve Factory.

Strengthen cooperation and promote local economic development

At the subsequent symposium, Chairman Lin Maolong gave a brief introduction to the attendees and warmly welcomed the arrival of leaders such as District Chief Chi Bangfen and Secretary Pan Jianchao. During his speech, Mayor Chi Bangfen expressed gratitude for the return investment and project implementation of Shanghai Power Station Valve Factory, especially the smooth landing and commencement of the project in Longwan District. He mentioned that Wenzhou City is accelerating the construction of intelligent industries, especially through the "Cloud Software Park" project, vigorously promoting the integration of information services with digitization and intelligence. Mayor Chi also mentioned that Wenzhou City will further implement cooperation among various departments to ensure efficient implementation of new projects.

He emphasized that Wenzhou will build an "Open Source Harmonytown" and use this platform to promote the construction of intelligent factories, providing more convenient policy support for enterprises such as Shanghai Power Station Valve Factory, and promoting technological innovation and industrial upgrading.

New base planning to boost output growth

Wang Xiaojun, the research leader of Shanghai Power Station Valve Factory, gave a detailed introduction to the company's future development plan at the symposium, with a focus on the upcoming construction of an intelligent manufacturing base in Longwan District. The new base is scheduled to start construction in February 2025 and is expected to be completed in December 2026. Longwan covers an area of 130000 square meters and has a maximum annual production capacity of 1 million units. The base will mainly produce valves required for industries such as electricity, petrochemicals, and ships, with main materials including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, etc.

Mr. Wang also shared the specific details of the project, including the introduction of intelligent equipment, the application of digital control systems, and the project goal of achieving a production value of 1.2 billion within three years and 2 billion within five years. This project will bring a large number of job opportunities and promote local economic development.

Chamber of Commerce supports and promotes cooperation

Lin Ping, Secretary of Shanghai Longwan Chamber of Commerce, also gave a speech on this inspection activity. He thanked Chairman Lin Maolong for taking the lead in landing investments and helping Longwan Chamber of Commerce and Shanghai Longwan Chamber of Commerce establish an important communication platform. Secretary Lin mentioned that Longwan Chamber of Commerce currently has 323 registered members and will continue to play a bridging role in promoting exchanges and cooperation among more valve enterprises in the future.

Supporting policies and technical challenges

Secretary Pan Jianchao paid attention to the construction of the new project base and raised issues such as whether to install photovoltaic equipment in the new base and the construction schedule. He suggested opening a green channel to further optimize the business environment and promote the smooth implementation of the project.

Comrade Zuo Guanhuai also raised questions about the technical challenges in the field of intelligent valves, especially regarding the integration with Huawei's HarmonyOS system. Chairman Lin Maolong responded that the company will continue to strengthen cooperation with technology enterprises, solve technological bottlenecks, and achieve better intelligent production.
